We are in the process of upgrading our customer’s Office 365 service. Before upgrading your tenant, you will receive an email from us saying we are planning to upgrade your service on one specific day. Please pay attention about that email.
Start paying for a new subscription will be a solution to get to the newest interface of Office 365, but as you mentioned it will take time to migrate your current data to the new one.
