Trying to set permissions for a calendar that is a folder in a shared mailbox. I created a distribution group and added users. I then created a security group and add the distribution group to the security group to get the users added to the security group. I then went to the permissions tab for the shared mailbox calendar and added the security group with publishing editors. I have another group set up similarly as the stated above, but with the permission of reviewer.
What I have noticed is the only permission that seems to work is what the setting is for default under the shared mailbox calendar permissions.
The group permission do not seem to be working.
Am I doing this right or missing something?
I would like to have a few users able to edit the calendar and a few users that are only able to review the calendar. I am trying to avoid adding each user one by one.
I realize there are a few ways to do this using PowerShell, but for now using the latest portal settings and Outlook can I get this done without PowerShell or should I just stick to PowerShell.
Thanks
