Thanks for the reply, Shyamal. But could you provide a link to documentation where I could read about this default functionality. Our customers use office365 to synchronize with their voicemail. The problem that I have described, does not allow us synchronize voicemail mailbox and email correctly. I have to show them the documentation to explain that this is a problem in office365.
I also noticed that in another scenario, I get a bunch of commands from office365. I believe that the behavior of the server slightly incorrect.
scenario:
1. in terminal(command line) enter command 'telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port', where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is IP address of email server, port - IMAP port
2. enter command '? login <login> <password>'
3. enter command 'SELECT INBOX'
4. enter command '? IDLE'
5. send message to <login> from another account and check command line: you will see EXISTS and RECENT
6. read message via OWA and check command line: you will see FETCH <FLAGS <\Seen \Recent>>
7. Delete message via OWA and check command line: you will not see EXPUNGE
8. send message to <login> from another account and check command line: you will see EXPUNGE, EXISTS and RECENT
I wrote feedback, but how can I track the status of my feedback, and how can I know that this problem is fixed?
Also could I configure default design setting from OWA?
