Thank you, Lee. I suspected as much. Outlook does allow me to pick which email account first displays (Options, Advanced, "Start Outlook in this folder: xxx". Outlook also remembers which calendar was last displayed and uses that one when launching. And, with the "Overlay" option, one can make calendars do what one wants. It would be nice if the same could apply to contacts. I will submit the feedback you have suggested.
