Glad to hear that the issue resolved.
But in order to find out what the root cause is, please provide more detailed information about the following:
1. Have you tried a different laptop or PC with the same account, or tried a different account with the same laptop?
2. How have the emails been moved, by migration, import, or any third party solutions?
3. How did you set up the Surface?
4. How did you copy the settings from the Surface to the laptop?
Maybe your experience can help other customers and us when dealing with similar issues.
