To help me have better understanding of your situation, could you clarify the following details?

1. When you mentioned that your account and the email address are in the same domain, do you mean that level 1 is the level of the domain?

2. As your description, you're trying to add the shared email address from the admin panel, is the shared email address you mentioned the shared mailbox?

3. Since there was an error message when you tried to add the email address, please provide the screenshot of it for further troubleshooting.
